R & D Innovation

Our company manufactures chitosan biopolymer that is avalaible in many sectors, isolated from natural sources and nontoxic. Isolation of biopolymer and characterisation studies carried out from edible mushrooms, shrimpsell and microorganisms. These studies are within Techno-Initiative project of Science industry and technology Ministry in 2015. Because of Chitosan has antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiaging properties, anticancer, antiulcer, acid removal, oil-water binding and absorbent properties, it is a functional product that can be used in many areas. Our company continue vigorously many R&D and  innovation projects.

CHITIN & CHITOSAN

Properties

Chitin found in the nature second biopolymer after only cellulose.

Chitin, and its derivative chitosan, occur naturally as the building block of the shells of all crustaceans and of the exoskeletons of every insect.

Chitin and chitosan are naturally nontoxic, biodegradable, and biocompatible and it has valuable properties for a wide range of applications.

POSITIVE ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE

In water treatment Chitosan binds with heavy metals, hydrocarbons, debris, and other toxins.
Chitosan also binds to red blood cells and suspended particles in beverage manufacturing, when used as a hemostatic agent.

ANTIMICROBIAL

Chitosan also binds to the cell walls of microorganisms, and it’s suppressing microbes through a nontoxic mode of action.
In contrast to Chitosan, the most antibiotics and bactericidal agents work through a toxic mode of action.

PLANT IMMUNE ELICITOR

Chitin is the building block of all insect exoskeletons. When a plant is treated with chitosan, it strengthens immune system of the plant. Treated plants and seeds exhibit improved nutrient absorption, increased crop sizes and yields, increased survival rates in prohibitive or severe growing conditions.

  • Chitosan has excellent physiochemical properties such as bioadhesive, biocompatible, and biodegradable. 

  • The great potential of use of chitosan in diverse fields has long been recognized. The biological related properties of chitosan make it particularly suitable for applications related with agricultural, food, and environmental engineering uses.

  • Chitosan has several inherent properties such as bactericidal, fungicidal activity, and wound healing potential. 

  • According to past research, chitosans exhibit a variety of biological activities including antioxidant, hypocholesterolemic, antimicrobial, immune-stimulating, and anti-inflammatory activities that give them the potential to be highly effective nutraceuticals.

MEDICAL

Chitosan, a natural polymer obtained by alkaline deacetylation of chitin, is non-toxic, biocompatible, and biodegradable and it has recently gained more interest due to its applications in food and pharmaceutics. Many researchers have focused on chitosan as a potential source of bioactive materials in the past few decades. The bioactivities summarized here may provide novel insights into the functions of chitosan and its derivatives. The great current interest in medical applications of chitosan and some of its derivatives is readily understood.

Chitosan is naturally bacteriostatic and antimicrobial because it has a cationically-charged structure.

When applied as a surface treatment to textiles chitosan prevents the growth of bacterial and fungal microorganisms .


Scientific research has shown that when chitosan applied to clothing, it can maintain antimicrobial activity through 50 wash cycles.
